Colshaw Hall Wedding

Roy and Chelsea’s COLSHAW HALL WEDDING really was a beautiful day and as a photographer the grounds of this private 300 estate nestled in the Cheshire Countryside made the perfect backdrop for the couples wedding photography. It was my first time toColshaw Hall but having checked it out online I could not wait to visit this gorgeous Cheshire wedding venue.

I had spent a rather soggy afternoon with Roy and Chelsea exploring Liverpool for their pre wedding shoot and after they spent most of the time giggling I knew it would be a great wedding. To see our Liverpool adventures please take a look here.

It was a beautiful spring morning when I arrived at the Lodge at the bottom of the drive where Chelsea and all her bridesmaids were getting ready. The daffodils were out and I was even greeted by some friendly looking wooden carved bears…the latest edition to Coleslaw hall.

I spent some time with the girls getting ready and when dresses were on I headed up the sweeping drive to the Stables, a gorgeous wooden ceremony building to meet up with a slightly nervous lookingRoy and the guests.

Once the guests were all inside a beaming Chelsea arrived with her dad on a golf buggy, such a fabulous way to travel around the estate.

The ceremony was followed by a few family photos and then I took the couple for  a wander around the grounds of this magnificent Tudor style manor house to get some nice wedding photographs of the couple. As a wedding photographer at Coleslaw hall you are slightly spoilt for choice  when it comes to back drops, from a little bridge overlooking a lake, a pretty courtyard, the hall itself to a beautiful walled garden. It was hard not to get a bit giddy!

The love these two people had for each other really was touching, especially when during the speeches Roy gave to Chelsea the cinema tickets from their first date that he had kept as he knew then she was the girl for him. Such a romantic gesture and one of the reasons I really do love my job as a wedding photographer as you get to capture truly happy moment of peoples lives.

If you are on the hunt for your perfect wedding venue then look no further that Coleslaw hall. It really is the most Beautiful of setting and the staff will go out of their way to make sure you have a wedding day to remember. I hope you like this selection of photograhs from Roy and Chelseas wedding at Coleslaw hall. Please get in touch if you are planning your own wedding as I would love to hear from you and see what romantic things you have planned.
