COTTON’S HOTEL KNUTSFORD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY-MATTHEW & AMY

Next to hit the blog this afternoon is some Cotton’s Hotel Wedding Photography from Matthew and Amy’s big day. This lovely hotel and spa is situated just on the edge of Knutsford in the Cheshire countryside. After meeting Amy and Matthew for a coffee one afternoon at the hotel to discuss wedding plans I knew it would be a nice day.

Amy and her bridesmaids were getting ready in one of the Cotton’s Hotel’s luxurious bedrooms. The atmosphere was full of excitement, however one little lady in particular was beaming from ear to ear and this was Amy’s little girl who stole the show..

We did Matthew and Amy’s pre wedding shoot a few months before the wedding day in the Cheshire countryside and it was clear from this day that this little lady was a natural model and loved having her photo taken, or in Amy’s words is a little diva!!

One of my favourite moments from this wedding was Matthews reaction when he saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle. I do love a tearful groom, it is very romantic.

After the ceremony the sun was shining and guests were able to enjoy pimms on the terrace whilst listening to the string quartet play. We did a few group photographs on the lawn and then some nice ones of the new Mr and Mrs down by the Lake. Another of my favourite moments of the day was when the little girl was playing hide and seek and under the wedding dress seemed like a perfect hiding place..I guess thats just the joys of being mum!!

The wedding cake was beautiful with flowers and butterflies and had an Alice in Wonderland theme to it..
