Autumn wedding at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel in Lancashire
Good morning everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine. I love it, it just makes you feel very happy and puts a spring in your step. Today I have a rather lovely Gibbon Bridge Hotel wedding to share with you. As a Lancashire Wedding Photographer I am lucky that there are lots and lots of pretty wedding venues nearby and the Gibbon Bridge Hotel is definitely one of them. Nestled in the Ribble Valley countryside, not only is it surrounded by beautiful views of the fields and fells beyond but it also has pretty gardens for those all important wedding photographs.
Rebecca and Jeremy booked me as their wedding photographer after seeing my work online but as they now live in Norfolk it was a little while after they booked before we met up for their pre wedding shoot in the beautiful village of Downham. We took a nice stroll around the village with their rather cute dog, who I was happy to see was a very special guest on their wedding day.
Friends and Family joined the pair at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel to celebrate their wedding. Jeremy is in the RAF and so the boys looked very smart in their uniforms. The girls all got ready in the hotel bridal suite where there was lots of laughs and giggles. When they were all ready it was time to head to the hotel conservatory to get married. A slightly nervous looking Jeremy waited at the end of the aisle for a beaming Rebecca to arrive. A lovely ceremony followed with heartfelt readings from the couples brother and sister. Once the pair were officially Mr and Mrs the guests made their way to the hotel bar to relax whilst I whisked the couple off into the hotel grounds for some nice photographs. Even on an autumnal day the grounds of the Gibbon Bridge Hotel look pretty.
The pair and their guests really enjoyed their wedding. There were lots of laughs from the magician, the indoor sparklers provided lots of entertainment and the outdoor ones when the best man thought it would be a good idea to light them with a blow torch!! Lovely funny speeches and fun on the dance floor were also a big part of the wedding.
I would like to thank Jeremy and Rebecca for letting me be a part of their wedding at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel. It was a lovely laid back wedding and lots of fun to be a part of. If you are getting married at the hotel and are looking for your Gibbon Bridge Hotel wedding photographer, or a getting married anywhere else in Lancashire or beyond please get in touch for a chat as I would love to hear from you. Now get them sunglasses on and enjoy the sunshine!! …..Until next time
