Hi everyone, well I have Katie and Paul’s King Street Townhouse wedding to share with you all this afternoon.  As a wedding photographer based in Lancashire I usually have quite a rural backdrop to work with so it was nice to mix things up a bit and head into Manchester City Centre for the day.

King Street Townhouse is located within the upper King Street Conservation Area of Manchester city centre and is part of the Eclectic Hotels group. It is a stunning building with a roof top hosting fantastic views across the city centre. The design inside is very city centre chic and stylised and I can quite see why the pair picked this as their wedding venue as Katie is an interior designer.

I met up with the girls in Glossop where Katie was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Katie had opted for a glamorous beehive, sleek fitted dress and a feather wrap to keep her warm. When everyone was ready it was time to head into Manchester City Centre to meet up with Paul and their little boy (who was too cool for school) to get married.

Following a beautiful ceremony the guests mingled and enjoyed champagne whilst being entertained by a fabulous musician. Katie and Paul had seen him busking on Market Street one afternoon and knew he would be the perfect choice for their city centre wedding. We then whisked the pair off for their wedding photographs. King Street Townhouse has the most amazing roof top which we were allowed to use for photographs with sweeping views across the city centre, with Manchester Town hall clock tower providing a perfect focal point. We then went for a wander around the city centre with Katie in her slippers as her feet were sore!

A great meal and speeches followed and the couples little boy got a guitar as a present as throughout the wedding day planning he kept saying he was going to play with the band for them on their wedding day. He kept his word later that evening and rocked out on the dance floor during the first dance!

When Katie and Paul booked their wedding day they didn’t know it was going to coincide with the Manchester Christmas light switch on and this meant fireworks…and lots of them!! Guests gathered on the balcony for a first class view as the fireworks lit up the Manchester skyline.

I had a wonderful day with Paul and Katie at their King Street Townhouse wedding and I would like to thank them for not only picking me as their wedding photographer but also for leaving me a great review. It is always nice to have happy customer  “Wow! Just W.O.W!!!!! We only wanted 1 pic we were happy with but they are ALL fantastic!!!! Thank you, so, so much! You are truly wonderful Jade!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and if you are still on the look out for your wedding photographer please get in touch as I would love to hear from you.

Jade x
