The Midland Hotel in Manchester Wedding Photography

Good morning folks, after a rather slow start to the new year I have finally got my blogging motivation back (and as its quiet season I actually have a bit of time to blog !!) so there will be lots of lovely weddings coming your way in the next few weeks. First up this morning I want to share some Midland Hotel in Manchester Wedding Photography with you from Nicola and Danny’s rather lovely autumn city centre wedding.

It is always so nice when a couple get in touch about their wedding photography after a recommendation from a friends wedding. Firstly it means I must have done a good job ( not to sound baggy!) and secondly it means I get to see some friendly faces on the day. Danny and Nicola got in touch after I photographed their friends Katie and Marks wedding and we met for a coffee and a chat it a cute little cafe where they filled me in on their wedding day plans. The couple had met at Uni and Nicola now works at the Midland Hotel so it was a natural choice for their wedding…after all who wouldn’t want to get married in one of the poshest hotels in Manchester.

Weddings at the Midland Hotel, Manchester

The Midland hotel is a luxury, grade II listed, 4 star hotel in the heart of the city centre. The perfect place for a wedding with elegant rooms, fantastic food and the hotel itself , along with the city centre architecture nearby making the perfect back drop for your wedding day photos.

I joined the girl ( and their rollers!) in the biggest bridal suite I have been in where the getting ready preparations were in full swing. Everyone was excitedly getting ready and the sun was beaming in through the big windows overlooking the world going by in the city centre outside. I popped down to the bar to get some photographs of the boys when they arrived to have a pre ceremony beer to settle the nerves.

A lovely ceremony with lots of smiles and giggles followed with Nicola being walked down the aisle by her very proud mum. After the ceremony the couple had confetti thrown at them by their guests on the red carpet on the steps of the hotel which is one of the things the hotel is famous for.

After a few family photos I whisked the couple off for some pictures around the city centre, by the town hall archways and the Hogwarts door ( as Nicola called it!!). Then we were lucky enough to be taken onto the roof of the Midland Hotel , as Nicola is a member of staff for some photographs with the city centre below.

A fantastic meal, some hilarious speeches and lots of dancing followed and I left the couple on the dance floor as the party was in full swing in what I am assured was a fantastic night.
