A summer engagement shoot at Brockhole’s nature reserve | Preston wedding photographer
Jon and Shea were having their wedding at Brockhole’s nature reserve in Preston so it seemed the perfect place for their engagement shoot as it is such a beautiful setting. With acres of countryside to explore and views out across the river and the Ribble Valley beyond it really is a great Location.
I met up with the pair at the floating village in the centre of the nature reserve. The sun was shining, the skies were blue and it really was a perfect summers day in the Lancashire countryside. Shea had a pretty red summers dress on and Jon looked cool in his white summers shirt. After a few pictures on the floating island and jetty we headed out for a stroll around the nature reserve.
Preston Wedding Photographer at Brockhole’s nature reserve
First stop on our tour of the nature reserve was the buttercup meadows that we came across. A brightly coloured yellow field of flowers which made a nice backdrop for some photos. Then we walked through woodland and along the river bank before arriving at a small stone circle and also a small pond with a wooden jetty. The nature reserve is a great place for an engagement photoshoot. As a Lancashire wedding photographer it is nice to have a list of places to recommend to my lovely couples when they are deciding where to go if they are having a pre wedding shoot. Brockhole’s nature reserve is a great place as there are lots of different backdrops in a short distance of each other.
I hope you have enjoyed these summery photos from Jon and Shea’s engagement shoot at Brockholes nature reserve in Preston. If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Preston or know someone who is getting married soon please get in touch for a chat as I would love to hear from you
