The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate wedding photography
Hi Everyone. It’s the new year and a big new years resolution for me was to blog all the beautiful weddings which I have been lucky enough to shoot over the past few years…yes I really am that far behind and must do better! First up today we have some beautiful Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate wedding photography for you from David and Hannah’s big day in this gorgeous Yorkshire spa town.
I love Harrogate, (well lets be honest what’s not to like about this pretty part of Yorkshire where the best afternoon tea and cakes are served!). I am so so lucky that my job as a wedding photographer lets me travel to some beautiful places and last year I had a pretty even split between Yorkshire and Lancashire weddings which I loved. When I met David and Hannah and they booked me to be their wedding photographer I knew we would have a good day. Before the wedding day I met the pair for their pre wedding shoot at Otley Chervin forest park for a stroll through the woods. It was a beautifully hot day and the views out across Yorkshire were simply stunning. If you haven’t been before I highly recommend it for a day trip. Take a little look here and see for yourself.
When their wedding day arrived I met up with the girls who were already in full swing getting their hair and make up done. The morning whizzed by and soon it was time for Hannah to slip into her wedding dress and head down the staircase to meet up with first her dad who was waiting to walk her down the aisle and then with her groom David who could not stop smiling as he waited for her at the end of the aisle.

The couple had chosen this beautiful four star hotel which is situated right in the heart of Harrogate for their wedding day and I can see why. A prestigious building with a bright conservatory room to say I do in and pretty gardens make a perfect backdrop for the wedding day photographs. A lovely ceremony, which included a very personal reading from the brides sister was followed by a relaxed afternoon where wedding guests enjoyed the summer sunshine on the lawn and the smaller guests played lawn games. I whisked the pair away for some photographs in the gardens before it was time for them to join their guests for the speeches, wedding breakfast and later on some dancing.
