I am very lucky that my job as a wedding photographer takes me all over country to photograph happy couples on their big day at some fantastic venues and locations. From a tipi in a field, pretty wedding venues, village halls to stately homes, the middle of a woodland to the blustery seaside shores. I love all kinds of weddings and thats what makes my job so interesting.

I work locally across the North of England but I am more than happy to jump in the car and take a road trip to where ever people would like me to go. I love exploring new places so if your wedding is a little (or a lot!) further afield no problem at all.

My style is friendly and natural, capturing little moments as they happen and for most of the day I have a documentary wedding photography approach which comes from working as a press photographer previously.

I also like to whisk you off as a couple for about twenty minutes to take some time out, have a glass of bubbles a few laughs and get some nice photographs of you both as a couple. I think a few groups shots are important, your parents will love them and they are nice to look back at in years to come and see everyone smiling, all dressed up and having fun. I do however recommend for these you stick to about ten which will include your closest family and bridal party. This way everything is covered and you still get to enjoy your day without them taking over. If you are after lots of traditional line ups then I am probably not the best photographer for you.

Your wedding photographer will form an big part of your wedding day so it is important that as well as their photography style you like them as a person and feel they could help put you at ease when those wedding day nerves kick in. I want to be part of your day and like a friend who can gently help guide you through, As well as taking your photographs I can help make the tea in the morning, help zip up bridesmaids dresses and take button holes to the church if needed. I will not be that bossy photographer shouting at your guests I promise!
