Sean and Emma’s pre wedding photography at Brockholes nature reserve in Preston. Lancashire Wedding photographer.
Back in the summer I headed early one morning to Brockholes nature reserve in Preston with Sean, Emma and their little girl for their pre wedding shoot. The couple were getting married at the beautiful Mitton Hall in the Ribble Valley a month later so it was nice to catch up with them and go other final details of their big day and of course get them some nice family photographs.
We met early so as not many people would be around enjoying the sunshine, when you are all parents it is not as if you get a lie in anyway! The sun was shining and we had the place pretty much to ourselves apart from a few bird watchers and we had a perfect blue sky…what more could we ask for!
Brockholes nature reserve has a floating visitors centre (with a great cafe) , lots of wildlife to spot, views over the River Ribble and a huge amount of space for exploring so it was easy to see why the couple love taking their daughter there and why the had picked it for their engagement shoot. We started off by the visitors centre and then went for a wander through the meadows, across pretty wooden bridges and ended up at the adventure playground, which of course was a big hit.
After a go on the swings and slide, and saying hello to the local ducks one little lady began to get tired of being a model and it was time to head home for a well earn’t nap! I will be sharing Emma and Sean’s wedding day soon but in the meantime I hope you enjoy these photographs from their pre wedding photography at Brockholes. Its a great place for a day out and I will definitely be taking my kids there on an adventure very soon. The nature reserve does weddings as well and I am looking forward to heading there in the summer this year to do Jon and Shea’s wedding photography.
