Couple shoot in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland
This time last year I headed over to Kilkenny in Ireland, in a blizzard to the Islanders photography conference to learn new things and hang out with some fellow photography friends. I like to try and go on at least one workshop a year as I think it is important, as in any job to keep pushing forward and learn new things, or as my husband says they are a good old jolly!
The conference took place in the pretty town of Kilkenny with talks and workshops in a beautiful theatre. As well as the talks there was plenty of eating, a few pints of the black stuff and plenty of fun meeting other photographers mainly from Ireland and the Uk.
Whilst at the conference I headed into the stunning Wicklow mountains to Glendalough which was a truly spectacular setting for a couples photo shoot with Mark Pacura. In the snow it looked a bit like we had stepped into Narnia!
This is definitely a place that I would love to return to soon, either on holiday or to photograph some beautiful Irish weddings as it really is a pretty part of the world, hint hint if you or anyone you know are getting married near here then give me a shout!
I hope you think so to, have a great weekend, until next week Jade xx
